As a self-taught artist based in Buford, Georgia, my journey began in the early 1980s with slip casting, but my desire for greater creative freedom led me to handbuilding and wheel-throwing techniques. My signature Fern Vessels, inspired by the delicate beauty of the ferns in my garden, are intricate sculptures made by impressing natural fronds into clay and glazing them with care.
